…. Part of the challenge was practical — his demos featured custom equipment he had crafted himself. Among these were the Power Soak, his personally built attenuator designed for driving his Marshall head (amplifier) at low volumes, the rare Hyperspace Pedal (of which only two were ever made), a makeshift chorus unit housed in a cigar box, and several equalizer racks essential for achieving his distinctive analog sound.
