Can I please clear this up it is a mistake that keeps a hard dividing line between working conservatives and working democrats.

I know a friend and his wife who make more than 400k in INCOME working their asses off. They are taxed 55% of that income. This includes state taxes. I would say that is enough.

The problem isn’t income its cap gains and the tax code that provides the truly wealthy- the ones who dont make an income and live off of cap gains and family foundations so file zero returns.

Its the corporations that make billions and pay no tax because they have 100 businesses within their conglomerate that lends and pays back each other fiscally so they don’t have any tax burden at their fiscal fillings.

The working human making income isn’t the issue. It divides us when we say tax the income. The wealthy have already navigated out of the income model.
