He did exactly what he wanted to do which was shoot his rifle. He was not asked nor was he deputized and was told by the Wisconsin police to leave the Car Dealership. The law is clear; Not his property, he was not paid to protect, he was not licensed to protect property- his life was not in harm until he got in his car and took his body and placed it in harm- further he provoked the situation with a firearm, this nullifies his defense to self-defense, legally; take a read it is fairly clear. Was he in fear of his life AFTER the fact that he shot an unarmed man, sure- he should be. An active shooter should be stopped or would you not agree with that?
