I constantly get pitches from "fake" investors - saying "we want to invest in you" I dont have any active projects at the moment, so it always makes me laugh.

Here is a GREAT way to weed out BS people; call the company they say they are from but by doing your research find the listed phone number in directories compare and call. YOu would be amazed how many scammers are out there.
