I finally came to understand what has occurred- simple minds have been adopted by the GOP using Fascist propaganda - the message was one they are dear to- no matter how bad it is for them at least they are white. This is a war to go back to antebellum times at all costs. Trump mean zero to them he is a useful idiot to them, he keeps progressives confused and unorganized to truly fight the threat. Basically trump is their entertainment.
