My final thought is that the EU and US need to offer immunity and asylum for any Russian soldiers who lay down their weapons- yes, Putin will do horrible things to their families, but those families should rise “up” if they want a future- Putin’s threats of using nukes made him a threat to the world.

We are so close to a nuclear winter that if humans aren't in sheer horror, it is delusional. The 45 administration's weakness and love of all things Putin have really emboldened this scenario- maybe it was always coming but with half this country ready to turn “Russian” over a democrat I think it gave Putin all he had ever wanted- American Division.
