Last year I tried an experiment. I wrote letters to a handful of authors I really admired β or attempted to anyway. I didnβt have a home address for anyone, but youβd be surprised how diligent and persistent most postal workers are about delivering a letter, especially when the envelope is hand-lettered. If you know the town, or better yet, the neighborhood, you have a good shot at seeing it delivered. I had a few returned, and a few responded.
