If the USD collapses and loses it reserve status its gonna be madness- so many countries that monetized their currency (FIAT) and pegged it to the USD will be utterly destroyed.

This is why I fail to see how crypto currency as it is today is a a solution. Those who are betting on it are hoping it is the new store of wealth but I just dont see that happening. What I see is a run and exchanges crumbling with a handful of those crypto alchemists clawing billions and disappearing.
