I love this article😊 20 yrs ago or so, I owned a distribution house, and we bought up all the Mfg domains that we sold through our channel. It was early in SEO they had no idea about SEO or .coms; it was not on their radar. I just pointed them to our new 1.0 website😳. A few years later, they came calling, and some upset, some laughing, I negotiated a fair price for each of them. The manufactures that were good to me throughout our biz relationship got them as Christmas gifts. One threatens to sue me for trademark infringement. I laughed and said no problem and took down the 301; told them I would not use the URL, just own it, and if they ever want it, they could buy it from me at X. That year was a good year.
