My opinion is this- BTC has one value and that is USD (or whatever fiat you buy it with) - the only value is when you decide to trade it back to said fiat. Digital currency tokens like BTC or the thousand others out there have one utility and it has nothing to do with value investing and everything to do with gambling.

Retail money will get destroyed IMHO
