Respectfully, I think you are confusing theoretical geopolitics with applied politics.

Your suggestions would of course be the right way to go arguably so anyway- what Mr. Chomsky stated is in the applied sense. Today Russia is bombing the life out of Ukraine, he is offering reality not diplomatic or theoretical demand’s of Russia.

Your article reads as if you are disappointed in Mr. Chomsky for not engaging in alternative theories to end this occupation- I think Noam is setting aside fantasy and offering reality.
