I have digested this for the last few days and I keep coming out the other end on the side of Rock. Watching Smith laugh at the joke then shift once his wife was offended , the hubris that he was empowered to walk on stage look a human in the eye them sucker slap that human, walk off stage sit down and scream verbal abuses - while the academy continued to film all the violence around the world is unacceptable period.

I grew up in Hollywood, I know the biz - at first it felt like a PR stunt. These entertainers are public figures and they pull at our attentions in many ways.
