The choice to be financially free is not in everyones bag of options, sorry you are off mark. The pursuit of happiness is.
…And though I understand your premise and spirit of motivational writing, I am of the experience and belief until we address and megaphone the “unfair” acts you say wealthy people deploy to be wealthy, the caste system prevails. It/they will continue to squash those who dare risk to venture to far out of their predetermined place, a place systemically set in history and well documented. An illusion of who has the “right stuff” propagandized from all of “unfair” power base and those who would rule.
How many POC or women including POC have access to startup funds? Do you believe it is due to lack of will, intelligence, ideas or more of access and system historical bias?
I dont accept that we as a society need to allow the “unfair” among us free access to the resources without justice and scrutiny.
Not every human is destined to find that entrepreneurial spirit. Should every person; fire person, nurse, policeman, mechanic, retails sales person have a side gig? So they can find financial freedom? Or can we as a society honor our social contract and say pursue your happiness whatever that may be and though you may not own a tesla, a chevy is just fine.
You will be fine! Not private jet fine but fine just the same.
This is the world I want and actually believe that our survival depends on it.
Peace Respect Forward
