To add- One of my best friends was gang affiliated in Los Angeles, one of the many Latin gangs that ruled downtown LA. he was a product of the neighborhood he grew up in. He was also known as an amazing street fighter- he actually almost went to Colorado Springs for the Olympic Judo team - a lesser point holding white guy was selected instead but that a whole other story. Anywho he had many police run ins for street fights - no drugs no other crimes.

In high-school LAPD recruited him into the academy- it blew my mind. That was a life lesson about what the police want in their ranks.

As a probbie first week in a police car he was assigned to Nickerson Gardens- he shot a man coming at him with a machete. His white trainer officer sent him into a house without backup. This is again another story

The police in America are just another gang sorry but dat is the truth- stay frosty learn the law have a lawyer ready to go. Never argue never run never talk back just observer and document.
