Taking the lives of others is unforgiveable, but we would be remiss if we neglected to point out the chronic American affliction that produced this shooter: the seething anger of disaffected young men in America who direct their misplaced frustration, with the aid of deadly weapons, at innocent people. Like any unresolved issue, it’ll continue to rear its ugly head until we decide as a nation to address the problem.
