All nation states are willing to sacrifice the people it is an illusion to think otherwise. There are no easy answers in the world WE have all chosen to build- one where competition and capitalism is how we divide resources.

What a world it could be if we embraced a different way but until then there will always be war and civilians will die in horrible ways.
