Which city? Los Angeles or Big Bear Lake ? the energy for each would be completely different. My concerns are two fold. A "tech" that has no utility is burning common resources to accomplish what? wealth storage with no benefit to 99% of the humans living on that planet.

25 million individual (aprx) have 100 % of the BTCs in circulation- and of those 30% (aprx) are held by what, four whales? So to answer your question I do not think humans should use up a finite resource such as oil to find a way to store wealth for 22 million other humans-

That energy should be used to solve the bigger questions and build the bigger answers of how we survive when oil is depleted. The sand in the clock is coming to an end. Of course climate heating will open up more areas to drill for oil but that world is gonna be a wet one.

The second issue I have is simple. One of the talking points in favor of BTC is the whole replacement of fiat currency. This shows a completely ignorannce and dangerous understanding of how society functions using trust. It really is the only true value of any currency. If crypto destroys nation fiat currency I promise you BTC will be worthless.

JAFO IMHO peace, respect, forward.
