Why didn't the insurance company cover the claim, and if I was the 5% partner I would have required it be a workers compensation case especially in California; that is unless Maxwell waived his coverage under WC which then adds more complexity - hmm was WC even around during this case IDK. Either way, something feels fraudulent, seems suspect to me but hey the court decided.
