Yes life is very good when measured to lifespan and comforts, for at least the conquers of these past centuries.

I may seem pessimistic but I am neither that nor optimistic- I am a realist. Humans use of awesome power has been proven destructive- I believe we need more evolution in the psychological parts of ourselves- that we have been distracted by shinny objects and comforts

…But that is just hard wired in this container we occupy… I am no one to stand in judgement.

This thought is formed in the macro sense, I have no answers and as a person in awe of the power yet to be discovered in our shared universe I fear the model we use as our template of success will eventually take its final course of nature and remove the threat.
